Fashions go in and out. This season for girls and women is a variety of things. First on the list is nautical. For instance, a striped blue and white dress with brass buttons. Next, humongous belts over dresses and things looks fabulous. Always go to the extreme, either get a huge tote bag, or a tiny purse. Stilettos are out, and chunky heels are in. Try to layer your outfits like put a skirt over pants, dresses over jeans, and even try Bermuda shorts over pants. This is useful when a dress gets too short, just stick jeans underneath, and you’ll look great. The Napoleonic style is in. Clothes that would have been worn in Napoleons time: navy coats with gold trimmings and brass buttons.

We miss you─teachers who are tireless in teaching; we will keep your gestures and your white hairs in our hearts deeply; we will miss the quietness with the lights at night in the classroom; we will miss the race and exercise on the playground; we will miss even the crowds in the dining hall and the quarrel on the beds; we will still miss every green piece and every piece of waste paper flying like flakes in the air ... What is success? Different people have different ideas.You may say success is the realization of ones hopesand justified goals.Under such notion,however,people have different understanding of success because the hopes and goals they cherish vary from one another.
there may ba so mangy kinds of success in the world that i cant enumerate them all.So maybe its difficult to set a defination for success.But ,in my opinion,its easy to define what is failure---there is only one failure called never try.
Everyone has his dreams but not all of them dare to make it come true.Just like a huter aimed at his game but never fire or a soldier who crying out but never toward.They are afraid of failure that they might encounter.
That reminds me of a game we used to play.We put the chairs in a circle.And the player must pass through th barriers made by the chairs with his eyes covered up.He would be allowed to memorize the positions of the chairs.But as soon as his eyes is covered,we will remove all the chairs.
Sometimes,our life is just like such kind of game.We tried our best not to bump against the barriers.But these things turn out to be existing only in our minds.And sometimes,we made them for ourselves.We dare not to participate a competition or get cold feet to call the boy or girl we love.It turns out that the barriers we made for ourselves lead to the loss of a lot of things.
Dont give up trying untill you really bump against the chairs.Even so,at least you have a place to sit on.
Some people would say i tried but i failed to pass an exam or to find a job.Iam a failure .But on the contrary,i prefer to call these things setbacks instead of failures.There is no failure in a winner s dictionary.
It doesnt matter i you have a tumble , what really matters is that you lose the courage to stand up and give it another try.The process is full of tears and pains.
Just look back on how we learn to walk when we are young.If we gave up easily,today we may only crawl .If Tomas Edison gave up easily in finding a proper material to make a bulb,maybe we will live in the darkness after the sunset.Perhaps we need some torches to go on with our competition.
I,myself,a shy person by nature who easily suffers from stage fright,had to get up my courage to take part in this speech contest like this.I could have stayed away and had an easy time of it by not coming here.But i chose to accept the challenge and to face the difficulties. Now here i am.I will try my best because i know i would broaden my horizon and make a lot of friends here.

“What do you think is the word that has really changed our world ?” When I was asked about this question for the first time，without thinking a second time, a word flashed into my mind ——DREAM , D-R-E-A-M. People dream more or less about different things，to be a teacher，a doctor，a scientist，a businessman and so on the people who have dreams should be respected, because Dreams make the world go around . Were growing greater with our dreams. All big men are great dreamers in their youth. Not only does Everyone have a dream, but also everything starts as one’s daydream. Martin Luther king had a dream. He desired for a future where both blacks and whites would coexist harmoniously as equals. By speaking the way he did, he educated, he inspired, he informed not just the people there, but people throughout America and unborn generations. He pushed forward the pace of black American society to the racial equality .
Thomas Edison had a dream. He dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, begenning where he stood to put his dream into action, and despite more than ten thousand failures, he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality! And today, his dream lights up the whole world at night.
Walt Disney had a dream, which, in itself, wasnt unusual -- he was always dreaming. He dreamed of making the first animated feature film, and of building an amusement park where parents, together with their kids, could enjoy themselves. Walt Disney empowered his dream and today, Disneyland, Disney world and Disney theme parks attract around the world thrill millions of visitors each year.
John F. kennedy had a dream. He wanted to land a man on the moon and return him safely to the earth so as to restore faith in the American way of life. John edy empowered his dream and 8 years later Neil Armstrong stepped on the face of the moon. The moon landing certainly gave Americans a newly-founded confidence. Dream --- A world-changing word? Yes ,I will say so ,wont you ? Youth is a special life-relaying station , the growth with the worry ,the life feeling become aware happily with the dream ,collecting a unique youth melody here .
We decide. We choose. And as we decide and choose, our lives are formed. In the end, forming our own destiny is what ambition is about. And most important, we are the one we choose to be.
It is easy to waste our lives ,our days ,or our minutes is easy to exist than to live hold fast to your dreams, For if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird, which cannot fly.
